How to use Android Tablet to Create Content, Publish, and Share

Pratap Chillakanti

Founder and CEO, Lensoo Inc., San Jose, California, USA

Date: July 23, 2013
Time: 6:00pm
Location: Cohiba 11

Today’s corporate world demands continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and collaboration for the development of sophisticated and complex systems. While corporations would like their engineers, developers, and managers to create content and share with their peers in the community, the tools that are provided to generate such content are not simple to use and become a bottleneck in motivating employees to share their knowledge.

At the other end of the spectrum, there is increasing demand in K-12 education space for people to express their ideas using simple tools, and create short lessons that can be published and shared.

Lensoo provides a cloud based active learning ecosystem and an Android App that lets anyone use their tablet as a whiteboard. One can write on the whiteboard while speaking. This recording is then saved, published, and shared.

At the end of the tutorial, you will be able to:

    • Create short lessons on a tablet using text and audio
    • Publish the lesson in the cloud
    • Share and collaborate using the active learning paradigm.

Anyone who has knowledge to share and anyone who wants to express their ideas and collaborate

Pratap Chillakanti is the founder and CEO of Lensoo Inc., a Silicon Valley company. He is an industry leader in implementing active learning solutions. He pioneered the concept of active learning in the cloud where it is integrated with peer-to-peer interaction and learner-to-expert interaction.

Pratap has over 20 years of industry as well as academic experience. He has held senior management positions in the industry. In the academic world he has been an adjunct professor and faculty teaching courses in programming, software engineering, software security, and management. If you can read this text, it means you are not experiencing the Plone design at its best. Plone makes heavy use of CSS, which means it is accessible to any internet browser, but the design needs a standards-compliant browser to look like we intended it. Just so you know ;)
